AASA extends its sincere gratitude to Andy DuRoss, Superintendent of Schaumburg School District 54, for serving as our host district, and to the Illinois Association of School Administrators for their support and collaboration. With guidance from Schaumburg School District staff and AASA program leaders — Dawn Bridges, Dan Bridges, and Tobin Novasio —we will explore the essential questions:

Essential Questions

  • How can positive psychology improve staff and student mindset, engagement, and satisfaction?
  • What is the significance of creating a strong sense of belonging, and how does it directly impact staff and student engagement, social-emotional, and academic success?
  • What leadership competencies can build trust, boost morale, productivity, and outcomes?
