Radical Family Engagement (2022)

When phrases get thrown around without consistent context, it's vital to tweak it to ensure you're having the intended impact.  RADICAL Family Engagement (RFE) isn't just about attendance at Back to School Night or parent volunteers.  RFE is about truly engaging parents in their children's school process, garnering buy-in from them by building relationships and raising achievement, not through more time on task, but by leveraging a child's, "first and most important teacher" - their parent(s).

Participation as a team is encouraged - Superintendent, 3 other school personnel and 1 representative from the early learning community (preferably Head Start)
