Authentic Family Engagement Certification Program 2024-25



Description:

Creating partnerships with parents and caregivers has always been important, but now more than ever, school systems are challenged to bring families into schools as true partners. The Authentic Family Engagement Summit will bring together district and school leaders from across the country to explore current topics and cutting-edge ideas around family engagement.

Registration includes (1) superintendent/central office designee and up to (2) principals OR family professionals. You (the superintendent/designee) are the primary registrant and will have the opportunity to submit up to two team members' names in the questions section.

To Register: 
Login or Create an account and Select the Register Myself button. (You must select Register Myself before you can add team members.) 
Answer the questions to add your two team members' information included with the registration.
Click Save Responses.

Adding Additional Team Members (only appears once the Register Myself button has been selected):
Additional principals/family professionals can be added using the Add a Guest option (orange text located under the registration button) at $495 each.
Enter the individual's first name, last name and email address.

When all steps have been completed and all team members added, click Proceed to checkout.


Course Text Book:
Please note the text we will use for this six-module professional development course will be Everyone Wins! The Evidence for Family-School Partnerships & Implications for Practice. (Karen L. Mapp, Anne T. Henderson, Stephan Cuevas, Martha C. Franco, and Suzanna Ewert: Scholastic 2022). 
You are responsible for purchasing your own book. The book is currently available at Walmart. and Amazon and other retailers. Before beginning this six-module series, participants are encouraged to read: “Introduction: The Evidence for Family-School Partnerships & Implications for Practice” (pp. 13-20) in Everyone Wins!
