Engagement Activity
School Administrator, February 2021
Nearly six in 10 superintendents nationwide reported engaging with parents and citizens for strategic planning or in advisory capacities at least once each month. About 13 percent said they do so weekly in a survey completed before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
About 45 percent of superintendents in AASA’s decennial study reported their local community as being very involved in activities of the school district through service clubs, fund drives or support groups.
