Tom Boasberg
Tom Boasberg has been appointed the 13th superintendent of Singapore American School in southeast Asia. Boasberg will take office in July. He served nearly 10 years as superintendent of the Denver Public Schools and previously worked as chief operating officer in the district for two years after transitioning from the private sector. This marks a return to the Asian continent for Boasberg, who taught English and played semi-professional basketball in Hong Kong after college. He joined AASA in 2017.




Reginald Eggleston
Reginald Eggleston has become the superintendent in Geary County Schools in Junction City, Kan. Eggleston previously served as chief administrative officer and superintendent in Montgomery, Ala., and was assistant superintendent in Mobile County, Ala., Public Schools, where he supervised 29 schools. He earlier worked in Butler County, Ala., as student services director and high school principal. An active Army reserves lieutenant colonel, Eggleston served with Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. He joined AASA in 2017 and earned a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University.




David L. Lehman
After beginning his teaching career more than 20 years ago in Sidman, Pa., David Lehman Jr. has returned to the community to take the reins of the Forest Hills School District in Sidman. Lehman previously served as superintendent for 10 years in the Conemaugh Valley School District in Johnstown, Pa., moving into the role from an assistant principalship. He has been a member of AASA since 2013. He earned his doctorate in administration and leadership studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

 


John C. Marschhausen
John Marschhausen has been named superintendent in residence in the department of educational studies at Ohio State University. He spent the last six years in the 16,500-student Hilliard, Ohio, City Schools as superintendent and previously held superintendencies in the Loveland and East Knox districts, both in the Buckeye State. He earlier worked as a principal and assistant principal. Marschhausen, a 13-year member of AASA, earned his Ph.D. in education from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minn.

 


Amy L. Warke
The LaGrange, Ill., Highlands School District 106 has welcomed Amy Warke as its new superintendent. Warke worked for three years as chief academic and accountability officer in the 6,100-student Oak Park, Ill., Elementary School District. She was previously assistant superintendent of learning and instruction in the Flossmoor School District in Chicago Heights, Ill., and earlier served as a principal of elementary schools in the Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Frankfort, Ill., school districts. She earned her Ed.D. in educational organization and leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Warke has been a member of AASA since 2012.




Gregory A. Wyman
A longtime educator in Arizona, Greg Wyman has taken the top spot in the J.O. Combs Unified School District in San Tan Valley, Ariz. Wyman most recently spent five years as superintendent of the Payson Unified School District and was associate superintendent in Tempe Union High School District. He also held superintendencies of the Apache Junction Unified School District and the Snowflake Unified School District. Wyman earned his Ed.D. in educational administration from University of Arizona. He has been an AASA member since 2002.
