Redefining Ready! Cohort

Redefining Ready! is a national initiative launched by AASA to develop new research-based metrics based on research by leading educational institutions, including the American Institutes of Research, the National Center for Postsecondary Research and Brown University.

Their recent studies show that success in college, career and life is more likely for students who attend school regularly, score 3 or higher on AP course exams and succeed in Algebra II in high school. The research also points to the value of participating in dual enrollment courses while in high school.

School leaders interested in joining a Redefining Ready! cohort can come to an introductory breakfast session at the AASA national conference in Los Angeles. The breakfast is set for 7-9 a.m. on Feb. 14. The cohort meets twice a year plus a breakfast meeting at the conference.

A new cohort will begin on April 1, 2019, and continue through March 30, 2020. Attendees can join at any point for $1,500. To learn about AASA’s national campaign and to complete a cohort application, visit www.RedefiningReady.org.
